A Celebration at Leyfold Events

The drinks reception for under way and after time to mingle with their friends, it was time to take some family photos and sneak the couple away for their portraits.

Dinner was served in the main Leyfold Events Yurt which had been beautifully decorated. Speeches were delivered between courses before guests headed back outside to enjoy the setting sun.

The newlyweds and I headed across some fields behind the venue for some stunning golden hour shots. 

By now, the Yurt had been cleared for dancing and as the couple took to the dancefloor, guests gathered around to watch and cheer, before joining the couple to get the party started.

Weddings at Leyfold Events

 Leyfolds Events is an alternative wedding venue in the countryside’s heart between Hereford and Gloucester. Situated on a family-owned farm in Westbury-on-Severn, this venue has stunning 360-degree country views, with a large lawn surrounded by a wildflower meadow and rolling farmland. Leyfold Events guests can enjoy an open-air ceremony under a stretch tent, with the chance to mingle with the farm’s friendly alpacas throughout the day.

Leyfolds Events has an impressive selection of handcrafted yurts, expertly designed by Castle Yurts. The venue’s largest yurt spans an incredible 60 feet in diameter, providing ample space to accommodate up to 200 seated guests and 400 standing. Couples looking for a festival-style wedding are also able to hire out bell tents for glamping. The self-catering farmhouse at Leyfold Events sleeps up to 10 guests, ensures a comfortable retreat for close family and friends and works as the perfect location for the bridal party to get ready ahead of the wedding.

Leyfolds Events is a joint partnership between Castle Yurts and Backyard Mobile Bars and Events, the land being a family-owned farm of Backyard Mobile Bars. Backyard Mobile Bars have bespoke bar setups and offer a full wedding coordination package. Leyfold Events is the perfect venue for a bohemian-style ceremony, a festival wedding, or a relaxed countryside celebration
