An intimate Seaside wedding

Fortunately, all was well, and the couple were soon pronounced husband and wife and shared their first kiss as a married couple. The registers were signed and the ceremony drawn to a close before the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle.

Canapes and prosecco were served on the Pier head and guests hugged and congratulated Stuart and Lorraine. Lorraine had bought several confetti canons which looked incredible as the guests showered the couple with confetti! We took a handful of group photographs before the guests made their way up to the Glass Box for the wedding breakfast.

Stuart, Lorraine and I hung about the Pier head for some newly-wed portraits. I was able to use the stunning Victorian architecture and seaside views to frame the couple and helped them to feel relaxed and at ease in front of the camera.

The venue offers multiple spaces to host up to 30 guests, including the Porthole room, the Glass Box and the Pier head itself.

The Porthole Room, a cosy, light-filled room at the end of the pier, is perfect for a private reception or ceremony, with large windows that open directly to the sea. The Glass Box is the Pier’s latest addition, a contemporary glass design which boasts panoramic views of the Pier and a quicker walk back to the car on a windy day!

The pier’s staff are experienced in hosting weddings and ensures that every detail, from decorations to catering, aligns with the couple’s vision. The venue’s proximity to Clevedon’s historic town means guests can explore its pretty streets, lined with boutiques and small, local businesses, cafes, hotels and those with a brave spirit can even take a swim in Clevedon’s Marine Lake.
