Cotswolds Wedding Photographer
Natural, documentary wedding photography for relaxed celebrations in the Cotswolds countryside
I’m Becky, a Cotswolds wedding photographer, based in Herefordshire and capturing honest, emotionally rich weddings. My approach is calm, unobtrusive and documentary-led, focusing on real connection and the moments that unfold naturally — perfect for countryside weddings, barn venues and intimate celebrations where presence matters more than performance.
I photograph weddings in a way that lets you stay fully immersed in your day, creating images that take you back to how it felt, not just how it looked.
Why get married in the Cotswolds
The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful places in the UK to get married. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it’s has rolling hills, patchwork farmland and honey-coloured stone villages that are stunning for photography. Weddings in the Cotswolds often lend themselves to being relaxed, informal and shaped by nature, light and landscape rather than rigid schedules or formality
There are so many stunningly renovated historic barns and country house wedding venues across this beautiful area. It’s a place where weddings feel connected — to the land, to the people present, and to what truly matters.
My approach to Cotswolds wedding photography
I work quietly and intuitively, blending into the background so your day can unfold without interruption. My role isn’t to direct or perform, but to notice — the small gestures, the shared glances, the emotional undercurrent that often passes unnoticed in the moment.
Countryside celebrations come with changing light, open spaces and unpredictable weather, and I’m completely at home working with that. I love using natural light, real emotion and perfect timing rather than posing, allowing photographs to feel relaxed, grounded and true to the atmosphere of the day.
If you value honesty over perfection, and presence over production, my approach tends to resonate deeply.

Becky, Your Photographer
I’m Becky, a Herefordshire-based wedding photographer drawn to real connection, quiet moments, and the emotional undercurrent of a wedding day.
My background in nursing, and my own experiences of love and loss, mean I photograph with deep sensitivity and care — always tuned in to how a day feels, not just how it looks.
I work in a calm, unobtrusive way, giving people space to be themselves, whether that’s a big celebration or an intimate micro wedding.
My approach is natural, honest, and documentary-led, creating photographs that allow you to return to the emotion of your day for years to come.
I regularly photograph weddings across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, and absolutely love working at The Painswick Hotel.
Photography shaped by the landscape
I am most at home outside in nature, and that naturally shapes how I photograph weddings in the Cotswolds. The soft light, open skies and textured stone villages create space for stunning, nature-inspired photography. I’m particularly drawn to how the landscape frames people rather than overwhelms them — using the environment to beautifully frame the story.
I spend a lot of time walking this countryside, and that familiarity helps me instinctively find quiet pockets for portraits, gentle backdrops, and breathing room in the day — without pulling you away from your guests for long stretches of time.
Cotswolds wedding venues I love photographing
I’ve photographed weddings across many beautiful Cotswolds venues, from rustic barns to elegant countryside spaces. Some favourites include Stone Barn, Cripps Barn, Kingscote Barn and The Great Tythe Barn — each offering its own pace, light and atmosphere.
Rather than listing every venue here, I share full wedding stories on the blog, so you can see how a day truly unfolds in each space.
