Sitting in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside, Bredenbury Court Barns is a beautiful venue. Bredenbury Court Barns has beautifully restored barns, dating back to the 18th century. The venue’s large, airy spaces and epic views make it a wonderful backdrop for a celebration.

There are exposed wooden beams, original brickwork, and vaulted ceilings, Bredenbury Court Barns has managed to preserve its original charm whilst offering modern facilities and luxury you’d expect from a premier venue.

One of the highlights of Bredenbury Court Barns is the outstanding outdoor space. There are beautifully landscaped gardens and lawns, and space for outdoor ceremonies and drinks receptions.

Bredenbury Court Barns’ dedicated team of wedding coordinators work closely with couples to ensure a seamless experience.

Bredenbury Court Barns has an exclusive use policy. When you book the venue, you have full access to the entire property, including the on-site accommodation in the Oak Barn, East Lodge, the Chalet and the West Lodge.

A Day at Bredenbury Court Barns

The Ceremony took place in the Orangery, a beautiful, light-flooded ceremony room with views over the Malvern Hills.

Being a chilly December day, the drinks reception took place in the bar, but the couple were happy to head outside for some bridal portraits, given that the weather was dry.

Once guests were seated in the Oak Barn, the couple were announced into the room as husband and wife and their loved ones clapped and cheered. The Father of the Bride, Groom and Best Man all delivered speeches, and Simon announced their pregnancy, which was celebrated wildly by the guests.

I do! As well as lots of other nearby Herefordshire venues. I am based in Herefordshire, so I frequently photograph weddings all over this stunning English county.

What style works best?
My style is mostly documentary and informal, I’m keen for my clients to have the most relaxed and enjoyable wedding day as possible! Bredenbury Court Barns lends itself to relaxed weddings, and with everything on-site and a dedicated team of coordinators, there really is nothing to stress about.

When is the best time for portraits?
The best time is when your guests are being seated for the wedding breakfast, this is a natural time when you are less needed and a great opportunity to slip away for some alone time. Hopefully we’ll get an incredible sunset and can sneak out for some golden hour shots with the Malvern Hills behind!

The History of Bredenbury Court Barns

Bredenbury Court Barns has a long history rooted in the Herefordshire countryside. It was o riginally part of the Bredenbury Court estate, and the barns date back to the 18th-century and were once working agricultural buildings for the surrounding farmland. Over time, they have been carefully restored and converted into the contemporary Herefordshire wedding venue of today. 

The wider Bredenbury Court estate itself has historic ties stretching back centuries, with the main house and grounds evolving through different periods of ownership. Today, the barns blend that agricultural history with modern design, creating a venue that honours the history and feels modern and practical for weddings too.
