Jack and Laura’s Wiltshire Farm Wedding
Last summer I was lucky enough to be asked to be the photographer for gorgeous farm wedding, not far from Swindon, Wiltshire.
I met Laura and her Mum the autumn before at Bride! The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter. When Laura described their wedding, it sounded right up my street, so when they asked me to be their Wiltshire farm wedding photographer, I just couldn’t say no.
I met up with Laura and Jack a month or so before their wedding for their pre-wedding Just Us which gave us a great opportunity to chat through their plans. At the time, Laura’s parents were busy clearing out the barn in preparation for the wedding, a task with a seemingly uncertain completion date!
Luckily, the barn was ready by the morning of the wedding and what followed was the most gorgeous, festival-vibe DIY wedding bursting with bright, celebratory colours.
Whilst planning a farm wedding at home can be a lot of work, it has massive benefits too – absolutely no restrictions, you can party as late as your like, plus where better to get married than on the farm you grew up?
