WEST WALES WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Hi! I’m Becky and I’m a West Wales Wedding Photographer.

I have a natural and informal approach to wedding photography. I aim for you to relax and enjoy your wedding day as much as possible whilst capturing the most beautiful photographs of you and those you love most.

Whilst my approach is mostly documentary, I also love to capture stunning portraits of the two of you.

My clients often tell me they feel uncomfortable about having their picture taken, I pride myself on my ability to put people at ease and make even the most nervous of subjects feel happy and comfortable in front of the camera.

“THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE AMAZING.

So, so grateful”

“we haven’t stopped crying.
thank you, Becky”

Wonderful West Wales Weddings

I grew up in and around Penrhiwllan and Llandysul. My childhood was spent milling about the Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire countryside on a horse or my bike, and enjoying the stunning Cardigan Bay coast. We were spoilt for choice for stunning beaches but our favourites included Llangranog, Mwnt and Penbryn.

As a young child, our favourite days out were Folly Farm Adventure Park, Oakwood Theme Park, Pembrey Country Park or taking a trip along the Ffestiniog Railway. Some of our less favourite school trips included the National Woollen Museum in Drefach Felindre, an outing that seemed to be inflicted on us at least twice a year!

I learnt to speak Welsh and was pretty much fluent as a child. I studied Welsh Literature to GCSE and seemed to know a lot of Dylan Thomas’work!

“Becky went above and beyond!”

“Without hesitation we made contact with Becky, in the hope she had availability after attending a family wedding where she done a stunning job earlier in the year!

On the day, Becky went above and beyond and was a calming presence to have around during the morning nerves and was so helpful throughout. Becky was so discreet and unobtrusive, at times it’s like we didn’t know she’s around but when you did know she was there she had such a lovely, friendly and kind nature she almost feels like a family friend.

Becky captured our day so well, that each and every time we sit down and look at our beautiful wedding gallery, all the emotions and love come flooding back. We are so grateful that we have this to treasure forever Becky, huge thank you again.”

Beautiful Photography in West Wales

Having grown up in a very rural community, my friends and I all learnt to drive almost as soon as we turned 17 and would spend our weekends driving down into Pembrokeshire, where we enjoyed more pretty Welsh seaside towns such as Tenby, Narberth, Fishguard and Saundersfoot. With my new found freedom, it wasn’t long before I felt called to take up surfing and would spend my free time in the waves at Broad Haven, Newgale and Freshwater West.

As a teenager, I worked at The Ship Inn, Tresaith and used to enjoy taking a stroll along to Aberporth during my break.

After completing school, I worked at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth. On my days off, I would walk the wild Welsh coastal path with my dog and watch for wildlife. I have always loved the outdoors and was captivated by the National Botanic Garden of Wales, near Llanelli.

In the summertime, the population of West Wales swells, and we locals would always complain about how the tourists struggled to drive our tiny, windy roads! Of course, the Welsh Wales holidaymakers provided lots of jobs for locals and were vitally important for local businesses and heritage sites across Wales.

My husband and I got engaged on St David’s beach after a road trip through Pembrokeshire enjoying Newquay and Laugharne along the way.
