Bath Wedding Photographer

I’m Becky and I’m a Bath wedding photographer.

My approach to photographing weddings is natural and informal. It’s imperative that my clients get time to enjoy their day with their loved ones, I am not going to be taking you off for hours of posed photographs, I just want you to relax and enjoy your day.

I absolutely love to capture the real, gorgeous moments between you and those you love. I create storytelling wedding photographs that you’ll cherish for many years to come.

I offer full-day and micro-wedding packages and am happy to put together bespoke packages for clients who need something a bit different.

Bath, a truly beautiful city for a wedding

With a plethora of inspiring backdrops so it’s no surprise I love photographing weddings in and around Bath.

The gorgeous city of Bath is a popular spot to get married. This amazing city has to be one of the most beautiful here in the UK, with stunning Georgian architecture at every turn, landscaped parklands and intriguing geography. It’s not difficult to lose an afternoon strolling through Bath’s City streets, stopping off at independent boutiques and coffee shops and admiring the pretty surroundings.

You don’t have to travel far to be out in breathtaking English countryside either, with scattered chocolate box villages, breathtaking arable farmland and rolling hills aplenty.

Some of my absolute favourite Bath wedding venues include Folly Farm, Priston Mill and Wick Farm

“Becky was wonderful from start to finish!”

“We can not recommend her enough!

We initially booked Becky because we wanted an intuitive, natural photographer who would complement and embrace the rustic style of wedding we were planning, we were not disappointed! Becky was fantastic on the day, incredibly patient, discrete, positive and FUN!

We are more than delighted that the photographs she delivered were exactly what we hoped for and even better than we ever imagined! She captured the most subtle moments (along with the biggest) of all our guests and the whole essence of the day.

Becky was wonderful and her photos make us beam from ear to ear, what more can you ever hope for!!”

Wedding Venues in Bath

Priston Mill

One of my all-time favourite wedding venues near Bath, this gorgeous wedding venue on the outskirts of the city has everything you could want for your beautiful, country wedding. With two renovated buildings to choose from, the ancient Watermill or the rustic Tythe Barn, you’ll be spoilt for choice at Priston Mill.

This gorgeous wedding venue sits in the beautifully traditional Somerset village of Priston, whilst it feels a million miles from the buzz of the city, in actual fact it’s only a short 20 minutes to Bath city centre making it the perfect spot for guests to stay and explore in the days around your wedding.

The team at Priston Mill have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are ready, willing and able to provide a fabulous service to you and your guests. They’ll ensure everyone is well fed and watered and everything runs smoothly so you really can sit back, relax and enjoy being surrounded by all those you love.

Folly Farm

Folly Farm is located on a 250 acre nature reserve and has beautiful 18thcentury converted farm buildings with epic countryside views. This environmentally sustainable venue is perfect for anyone wanting to run away for a weekend of nature, peace and adventure.

What makes this wedding venue extra special is that it’s a not-for-profit charity, donating all its proceeds to the Avon Wildlife Trust. This means all profit will be put back into protecting local native species.  Not only will you have an incredible wedding day, you’ll also leave an incredible legacy too!

Set in rural Somerset just south of Bath this awesome venue has views over Chew Valley Lake and the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by ancient woodland, there really is something special about this wild and wonderful place.

Wick Farm

Wick Farm is a medieval farm with a history dating back to 1372! If you’re looking for a gorgeous Barn wedding venue, with traditional Bath architecture in a rural location, Wick Farm is well worth a look.

It has a chocolate box cottage, with stone walls, moss covered rooftiles and an arched entrance door with a pretty pink rose climbing up and around – the perfect backdrop for some gorgeous wedding portraits after you’ve tied the knot!

The barn where the ceremony and reception is held has bags of character with stone walls and exposed timber beams. There are gorgeous landscaped gardens for reception drinks and if you’re really wanting to embrace farm life you don’t have to go too far to find some four-legged friends!

This beautiful venue really is a stunning spot for a rural wedding escape.

Photography in and around Bath

Prior Park Landscape Garden is one of my all-time favourite spots for photographs, a real gem on the south side of the city, with stunning views over Bath. Lots of couples get engaged within the 18th century Landscaped Garden, usually on the historic Palladian Bridge.

On one of our first-ever dates, my husband took me to see the band Daughter at The Komedia in central Bath, which was really something. Afterwards, we took a stroll along the river Avon, over the Pulteney Bridge and caught the train back to Bristol from Bath Spa. We’ve spent many an evening in the Assembly Rooms and enjoy the Bath Christmas Markets every year.

Some friends recently introduced us to the Skyline Walk in Bath, which was very popular with my cocker spaniel, Ted!

There’s no doubt that if you’ve not been before, a trip to Bath’s Thermae Spa is also a must-do. The open-air rooftop pool has epic views over the city and across the Somerset countryside, it’s a lovely way to spend an evening with someone you love.

If you’ve not yet read my about me page then you won’t yet know that before I became a wedding photographer I was actually a nurse.  My very first practice placement took place at the Mineral Hospital in the centre of Bath. I remember parking in Victoria Park every morning and wandering through the landscaped gardens, gazing out over The Royal Crescent before strolling through the pretty Georgian streets and heading to work each day.
