Matt and Becky’s Wedding at
St Audries Park
It was early October but an Indian Summer meant those autumnal colours hadn’t quite set in, not that it mattered, because Becky and Matt’s burnt orange and burgundy colour scheme totally stole the show.
St Audries Park used to be a girls’ boarding school, many moons ago. Becky and Matt booked it because it was actually where Becky’s Mum went to school, how lovely is that?!
Becky and Matt were the cutest couple, totally in love and overcome with joy at getting to finally marry their best mate. They were both an absolute picture of joy all day (apart from a few moving tears from Matt on Becky’s arrival).
St Audries is a stunning coastal venue, set between Exmoor, the Quantocks and the North Somerset coast. The beautiful orangery is a particularly beautiful spot to tie the knot, and really made that autumnal colour scheme pop.
Some of my favourite moments are captured below; the moment Becky’s parents first saw her, Matt shedding a tear at the site of his beautiful Bride, the lads playing crochet on the lawn and Becky’s reaction to her lovely Dad’s speech.

Why I love St Audries Park
St Audries Park is a Manor House, set in beautiful parkland where deer roam all around. It sits sandwiched between Exmoor National Park and the Somerset coast. St Audries Park is only a 5 minute drive from the rugged St Audries Bay, a perfect spot if you’re keen on slipping away from the party to take some wild, romantic beach photographs.
If you’re looking to stay put, there’s no shortage of gorgeous backdrops at St Audries Park itself. From the light, airy orangery, the landscaped gardens with the building behind or the surrounding farmland, there’s no shortage of options for your newly-wed portraits.
St Audries Park certainly isn’t lacking in space either, there is so much space at this epic venue that there’s no need to worry about room turnarounds or where you’ll have your reception drinks if the heaven’s open. There’s an abundance of rooms for your guests to stay too, so despite its secluded location, your guests won’t have to worry about logistics.
The staff at St Audries are fabulous too! You’ll be allocated your own wedding coordinator who will work with you in the lead up to your wedding and be present on your big day too. I really do love this fabulous venue.
Becky is a St Audries Park Wedding Photographer with a natural, informal, documentary style and a love of beautiful, creative portraits.
